... it's going to be a great day for people watching and photos. I'm yet to decide whether I may hire a costume and join in. It costs €350 to hire those intricate, old fashioned Venetian dresses, and as there is no cool VIP party for me to attend afterwards (that is, it would just be for walking around San Marco square and having people stop and take photos), I'm not sure if that's reason enough to spend this much.
