... did not only display works of art, furnishings etc, but the little explanation panels explained the era each piece was produced in, linking the art to the history of the time. It was great but once the hanger set in all the other tourists really got up my nose. Why must people stand right in front of me when I'm reading something or admiring a piece. Seriously, do they not recognise the centre of the universe when they see it? Add to the mix, ...

... Everything is so green and the scenery changes from gentle hills full of sheep to dramatic cliffs, to the cutest towns you have ever seen.

... the security queue was just as long though slightly better organized and no one was game to make a fuss. We eventually got through that (including the full body scan machine and pat down. - ahh the joys of air travel! ) and had half a panini and an espresso. ... the musicians from last nights dinner to the park gates. Interestingly at Chobe Game Lodge all the guides are woman which is very different than other lodges in Botswana where all guides are men and they are just now introducing female guides. The course to become a guide is very costly now while when Vivian completed it a few years ago it was government sponsored.

... There was a little section with a few animals around, ie. ducks, geese, chickens, peacock, turkey (very grumpy, probably heading for Thanksgiving lunch unless it cheers up) and some pigs. Liam could then try his normal Dr Dolittle thing in talking to them, but they must only know Dutch. Just further on was a large playground with rope section, so up both went to shed their fidgets and get some rose in their cheeks from moving around versus the chilly air. It hadn't hit 10 ...
