Our arrival at the Horton House B&B yesterday afternoon was, as Craig has explained, somewhat dampened. Our host's nephew, Scott, is a real character, with a quick line in banter that rather bamboozled us. I accept that Mandy-Jane and I are in something of a minority amongst our friends and relatives in that we take enjoyment from country music. When you get to the top you have to quickly unload and choose which hill you want to slide down. It slides down really fast and it was so fun, you could go down by yourself or there were double tubes where two people could go ...

What sort of lunacy? Red Rocks Amphitheatre, home to bands such as the Beatles, Sting (last week apparently....) and Mumford and Sons - just had to be visited! Amazing setting, a fabulous huge amphitheatre between two enormous rocks, and it is a lesson in multi-use, something we could learn from. This afternoon, a film but this morning, bizarrely being used for ...

... We had our dinner and then around 7:30 we headed over for a show put on by a local. She didn't have any music of her own but she had an amazing voice. She invited people to sing with her and passed around egg shakers. Fiona, Liam, and Quinn had a great time jamming and doing magic tricks with rocks. After a little while of listening to the voices of campers I headed up to the rock formations above to work on photography. ...
