    Running Red Rocks

What sort of lunacy? Red Rocks Amphitheatre, home to bands such as the Beatles, Sting (last week apparently....) and Mumford and Sons - just had to be visited! Amazing setting, a fabulous huge amphitheatre between two enormous rocks, and it is a lesson in multi-use, something we could learn from. This afternoon, a film but this morning, bizarrely being used for ...

    Flying IAD-DEN

... Economy Class is oversold by one, for a total of two seats open on the plane. I’m still third on the SA list, but the only standby who’s checked in so far. I’m also the only person checked in so far on the upgrade list. The seat map shows four BF seats open: 1K, 3L, 4L, and 5B. Fingers crossed one of them has my name on it!

If not, I’ll overnight at DEN again and try for Wednesday’s flight, which is currently showing 15 BF seats open and I’d be #8.

And maybe I ...

I have not updated our travel blog since we have gotten here, I guess because we have done so many things since we have been here. I would like to wish the love of my life happy 14th anniversary, sorry we have to work, will make it up when we get to Seattle, Wa. We have gone up Pikes Peak on the Cog railroad, we went back to the Garden of the Gods, and we also went to Breckenridge ski resort ...

Walking in Bear Creek Lake Park

We were hoping to take advantage of our first trip to the mountains to do some walking before the concert (after stopping to scout out some golf courses, of course). What we discovered was Bear Creek Lake Park, a large swimming hole ...
