      From Naples to Sigonella, Sicily

A travel blog entry by joshualyon on Dec 05, 2014

I was trying to catch a flight to Shannon from Sigonella NAS, so I fight an overnight ferry from the port of Naples, to the port of Catania. From there I took a cab to the NAS. Wow - I have to say that Italy still has my vote. Croatia is nice and I know lots of our friends rave about it and the whole Dalmatian coast but Italy has it in spades. Sicily was spectacular and we are thinking to include it in our 2015 travels. Syracuse is just beautiful with lovely old buildings, quaint streets and magnificent churches - no ...
