    ... She was so confident in herself which is a trait not many people possess. I am sure that everyone she has come in contact with has been changed for the better just by knowing her. I know I have. Her passing reminds me to never take life for granted because you never know what day will be your last. It also taught me to tell everyone how much you love and care for them while you can. It is really hard to be halfway across the world from my friends and family ...

    ... around for the people of Italy - surrounded by love!

    The owner of the apartment I stayed in, in Nomentana, Rome was an earth angel too. Can you imagine, an art history teacher a few years ago...takes me on 2 tours of art in Rome, and cooks me dinner on my last night in Rome. Her kindness and generosity were so special to me.

    ... walked over to the Temple of Apollo, which had monolithic columns. There wasn't a whole lot left of this temple. But it was still interesting to see.
