    ... side. Everything was prepared simply, with very discernible ingredients, and nothing was overly fancy for no reason. It was all just, well, yum.


    We finished the evening with a stroll through a small piazza, where the locals were watching a friendly football game between Germany and Argentina on big screens, and stopped at the neighborhood pasticceria for two freshly-filled cannoli. Oh, and Argentina kicked Germany's

    Arrival in Messina - delayed due to inclement weather, we arrive 50 minutes behind schedule, only to find out that 2 of 3 travel options for getting to our next destination, Stromboli, have already departed, so opt for the Giuntabus to Milazzo. Upon purchasing our tickets, mind you, we find out that even if we get to Milazzo, we're probably not getting any further, as all water traffic is on hold, due to the aforementioned inclement ...

    ... 4 sacrifice n greek teatro. A long road with caves/rooms in the side cliff for storing bodies.
    Lots of other natural displays but ended with the supposed tomb of archimedes.
    Back to our little haven of Ortigia 4 siesta n drinks.
    Stroll around the water front n down a few alleys to a little restaurant.

    ... didn't dissapoint! They were huge and delicious! After that I went back home and saw there were 3 new girls in my hostel room! I started talking to them and found the were from Switzerland! My favourite place! We talked for a while and they asked me to come for dinner with them. I was not hungry at all after my arancini ball but could use the company and they seemed like the type of people I would get along with.
