... The kids had fun with Ananya and her little sister. Nagashree made yummy avarekayi upittu for all of us, our first homemade meal nearly after ten days. Enjoyed their company and drove to manju and Jayashree's place in Folsom. Tejas and Pranav became good friends and had a good time while Tanvee enjoyed being big sister to Pratheek. We had a wonderful time at manju's and started our trip to the Bay Area.

... That brings us to today. We have been traveling a lot to today as we needed to get down to Salt Lake City. We did stop off at the Grand Tetons and got some photos. Once we were in Salt Lake we had a quick break before we were off to have dinner at the Mormon Temple Square, and see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir rehearse. AMAZING, and also very interesting to learn about their religion. So we are having a great time, but also are ready for home. ...

... with the house so we rented a small U-Haul trailer and stuck it to the back of the Equinox and away I went. When I arrived in SLC I was amazed by the mountains, the people and the cleanliness. My amazement ended however when I arrived at where I would be staying. I spent the next month living in the attic of a hostel sharing a bathroom, kitchen, and fridge with 8 other guys and 1 cat. ... Nice, nice people who will help at every opportunity. Traffic and noise that make NYC seem calm and quiet. Electrical wires stacked on top of each other and going every which way. Houses that still have no electricity. Ethnic minorities who still dress in their traditional clothes. Hard, hard, workers -- mostly the women.
