... primitive hand tools lots of volunteer labor and oxen to haul the rocks. We continued on our own doing a walking tour of the area. We went to the 24th floor of an office building for a great view of the city, we saw the convention Center and went to City Gate, a very nice downtown shopping mall, for lunch. ... and they needed to be watched pretty carefully. Ben got cold soon and so after about 30 minutes, we walked back to the car. It livened everyone's spirits, and we all felt more awake. ... is that my grandfather was born in 1874 and orphaned at 8. His dad, my great grandfather fought and died in 1876 in the Civil was fighting to free the slaves. His wife passed 7 years later. The Family History Library is free if you ever want to look up your heritage.
I had about as much fun as I could handle so I came back to the hotel just before dark.
Meeting friends tomorrow. Looking forward to more skiing. :)

Utah must be one of the most stunning pieces of wilderness on the earth. I-70 W through the high desert and 191-6 through Price and into theWasatch Range following the railroad. ... Temple Square to wander the beautiful landscaped gardens with manmade streams and waterfalls. Browsing through the tourist information centers we viewed may dioramas and paintings capturing the Book of Mormons' beliefs.
