... wolf story. It was the largest city on earth at about 1,000,000 residents during the Imperial period, then vacated to 20,000 during the Middle Ages, back to about 3 million today. It has had so many rich historical periods that the museums are specialized – Prehistoric, Etruscan, Egyptian, Early Medieval, High Medieval, Papal Gifts, Construction discoveries, Municipal Gifts, Imperial Rome, Jewish, Public Baths, Renaissance ...

... Vatican and sat down to lunch. Unfortunately I was starting to feel even worse than I had in the morning so we had to cut the lunch short and get a taxi back to our hotel for a good nap.

That night we finally met our new Top Deck tour group who we were travelling around Italy with. I was very apprehensive due to us keeping them up the night before and because we made them miss the bus that morning. I didn’t think we would win the most popular title!

We were supposed ...

... people would not agree with us that it is the best. Others have different favorites.

Does that mean that we're wrong or they're right? No. Almost every person we've talked to finds gelato amazing and wonderful, even if their particular favorites differ.

I couldn't help but make a silly connection (I know, that's what I do, right) between gelato and church. Lots of Christian people share their love of God in Christ but don't go to the same church. And even people who go to ...

I told her we would take her out on a little tour then next day, and possible show her how to bargain, me being the professional and all, haha not. We got to talking all night, and Im sure Dylan started talking to "Montana" and two other Aussies. Me and Margo just sat outside and sang at the top of our lungs, until we were told to be quiet. We made it!

Well we're here. The trip went off without a hitch. No pictures yet because we're all a little grungy. The highlight was that Rick Ocasic from the Cars was on our plane from New York to Rome. You couldn't miss him. So that was our brush with celebrity. There were also two old people who didn't know where ...

When in Rome....

... to the airport to get our flight. We didn't have half as much trouble coming back so we got our flight on time and got home safely as well even though we once again had trouble on the Autobahn with Steve and Co. taking the wrong exit!! haha So instead of taking the Autobahn we took the backroads and got to see a lot more!! So all in all, a great trip!! Tune in next week for more adventures in Germany when we go visit Detmold, Cologne and Bielefeld (to go shopping!! hehe)!!

After the great meal, we retreat to our room and play Rummy 500. Cris wins once again, WHAMMY!! Then we all go the bed. The plan is to explore Europe tomorrow, and then join Zundo in the hotel room, and then do the Vatican on Friday. See you tomorrow! Ciao! Cris and Adam

... was probably a church worth seeing. And so we emerged from the metro into the central piazza to see the massive grandeur and intricate patterns of... scaffolding. Scaffolding, scaffolding and more scaffolding. I've long suspected that there is a clandestine group of professional photographers that conspires to erect scaffolding in front of any worthwhile tourist attraction. At the ...
