    Olomouc is a delightful city of 100,000 located on the Morava River in the eastern section of the Czech Republic. It was the ecclesiastic and historic capital of Moravia , a favourite of the Czech monarchy and just a nice place to spend a few days. Ah yes getting there.     ... forward to it so I can see it for real and remember and reflect and the other part is dreading it.

    Supper tonight was really good - a couple of people had pig's knuckles which tasted divine (I had pasta with chargrilled veg and supposedly spicy sausage but couldn't taste it at all...am suspicious they didn't include it). Up early tomorrow so am off to bed (rather than going drinking).

    ... rode steadily uphill, around 1 km at about 10%, whew! Lana was knackered at the top but I went on, another 500 meters at 12% to the old castle. What a castle! Apparently it was the largest ever castle in Central Europe but was abandoned, blown up and generally fell into disrepair.
