We also found a little lamb that had somehow found itself at the top of a lot of these rocks, but no other sheep seemed to be anywhere nearby. After numerous attempts to make friends and some cute up close photos, we headed back and tried to inform a farmer of the situation. The farm house appeared to be ...

We met a couple on the way ...

... a lovely sunny day and a great chance to catch up on all the family in one visit.
So now it is back to the real world, we loved our time in San Francisco and Canada and especially loved missing all the bad weather at home. We have had two lovely sunny days since coming home so hopefully we have brought the good weather home with us.

... delayed from departing due to a 5.9 magnitude earthquake in Wanaka. We had to have a safety pilot in front of us on the tracks, but thankfully there was no damage done to the tracks. We have also since learnt that there was no significant damage or lives lost in Wanaka. We had a delicious, filling meal at a Turkish restaurant in town. We've said it before, but we mean it this time - our cycling for this trip has now ended. Our final mileage was 8101. Not too ...
