We decided to take the scenic route through the Wicklow Mountains, a portion of which is a national park. We stopped in Roundwood for lunch at the Coach House Tavern, a historic building with great food and huge portion sizes. Two of us had beef and Guinness casserole and two had cottage pie, which really hit the spot. Even Little D enjoyed scarfing down the beef and delicious sauce, along with a pile of mashed potatoes. The wave period was 6, with local wind chop. Really rough. Jeremy and I were both sick.
