Had dinner tonight with Karen and
Graeme at the Ripe Tide. Nice to see them again, they both look well and happy
in CR and Graeme has the head nod going just right!
Latest no swim excuse for Jacko ... It’s too dark!

Wilderness Camping
... and it decided to show us who was boss, by ******* up the side of our tent during the night!!
The next day, after another patchy night's sleep, we decided to tackle a trail up the mountain side, which was strangely uneventful, right up until an accidental discharge of bear spray, which was not discovered until about 2 seconds after Sam rubbed his eye, when all became painfully obvious!!
Our journey continues - to Telegraph Cove.

Eine große Reise zu einer tollen Insel
... Die Stadt war die Reise aber auf jeden Fall wert. Es ist eine sehr idyllische,malerische Stadt.
Der Hafen, die kleinen Backsteinhäuschen und der mit Backsteinen gepflasterte Gehweg, geben der Stadt einen ganz besonderen Charme.
Wir haben den Tag und die vielen Shops dort genutzt um unsere Souvenirs einzukaufen und um uns selbst mal so richtig zu verwöhnen, mit Hummer und Muscheln :-)

... seals and some salmon leaping, and some crazy stalk like bird-pretty awesome!).
Ohh and we also found THE best chippy location - a place called *****. Why was it incredible? Well not only was the food very very tasty, but it was on the docks- and yes it floated!
We were gettin picked up pretty early the next day so mostly we just hung out on the blacony and got to know each other a bit more an had a laugh - good times ...
Final family time...
... Ev and Siri and Angela and I kept each other entertained, had a lovley time. And congrats to them both on the sale of their new home!!!Back to the city on the friday after Mark dropped me off at the ferry I got back in the afternoon ready for a big girlie night out for me to say bye bye and for Mel as it was her first night out since the birth of Marshall and just because the girls needed a night out!!! (photos definatly to follow when I have time) x
