... of the universe's actions is voicing, "This is ******, I don't deserve nice things." Now, put yourself in my shoes. A waitress mistakingly brings you a steak as opposed to the burger you cost efficiently ordered, though in your heart of hearts you wanted a steak. You graciously accept, no? To refuse would embarrass and inconvenience her. Well, likewise, I'm not going to call to cosmos and be like, "yo, you ****** up", because that is a long distance roaming ...

Ha Had a day off yesterday with all the specialists where we went to a mall and cinema to are 22 jump street. It was a great day and also a very funny film. The cinema had chairs that you sat on and then had leg reclining and then it laid back. It was epic! Until next ...

Today is the 22nd June. And this is the day the kids come to camp for the residential side to start there 4 week camp life. So kind of scary! We spent all of yesterday racking and cleaning up the unit. The other day I managed to get some rink time just to see what it is like and the feeling of it all. It's not as big as bisley but it's nice. The floor Is a little bit annoying...but it will do for the summer. Really not going to see ...

So far so good, bikes purring and off heading east then north up long island towards ferry to new England, Connecticut.
had the great idea to take some ocean and beach shots, not such an easy trail to the beach and ended up stuck in the sand, so first off road adventure pretty much ended in disaster although it was a laugh. I did not see the ...

... be honest. So I am standing on the sidewalk and these two massive school buses like you see in the films, picked up us and took us to camp it took around and hour 40 to get to camp in CT. Where we were all greeted by the previous staff members on the massive fielding was outside a building. After being introduced to most people we got our bags and headed to the designated rooms. I was second in the room so managed to get a decent bunk on the bottom. After sorting all that ...

    Awesome B&B

    from

Stayed at Arbor View House B&B over Labor Day weekend. This place will be forever special to my fiancÚ and me. I can not begin to describe the awesome breakfasts that Veda cooks up every morning. Having brunch outside with great conversation in the serene North Fork setting is amazing. Veda and Wilfred are wonderful people that make sure that their guest's needs are taken care of. We stayed in the Champagne Suite which had its own bathroom. Both the room and bathroom was sparkling clean. We loved our stay and loved the area. Highly recommended!

My first, but not my last...

    from

i've never been to a B&B before so I suggested it to my boyfriend who did some research and found Arbor View. I love the atmosphere but most importantly Veda and Wilfred were such wonderful people to be around. We spent the mornings eating breakfast together. Got to know the other guests as well and just shared many laughs together. I had such a wonderful and relaxing time and would definitely go back there again and again. This was where I got engaged!

Couldn't ask for a nicer place!

    from

My fiance and I had such a pleasant and relaxful stay at the Arbor View House B&B. It was actually where he proposed to me, so I will forever remember the comforting home and incredible hosts! It is extremely quiet, has gorgeous foliage outside, and the food...WOW! I would recommend this location for anyone wishing to relax.

    1st time at a B&B

    from

Spent a weekend at Arbor View House. We had never been to a Bed & Breakfast before. We had a free weekend without the kids & wanted to relax & do something a little different. We made a great choice! Wilfred & Veda made us feel like family. Breakfast turned into a special event that we enjoyed with our hosts and the other guests. The food and conversation were great and there was no rushing thru breakfast. We stayed in the Champagne Room. It was sparkling clean with the most comfortable bed. The North Fork area is great place to visit with lots to do (wineries, beach, boating, fishing, golf, farms) and the Arbor View House is a great place to stay for a great nights sleep and a leisurely delicious breakfast with fantastic hosts. We are planning another stay at Arbor View for the fall and we would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away for a relaxing weekend.

    Eclectic Inn; Wonderful Hosts

    from

Our first time visit to the North Fork of Long Island brought us to the delightful Arbor View Inn.

At the Arbor View, B&B stands for Bed and Brunch! The hosts cook up a wonderful meal of great dishes, not your typical breakfast fare. Veda and Wilfred are highly personable, share the meal with you, and take the conversation down a variety of paths. Plan on spending a very relaxing morning over breakfast.

The hosts take great pride in catering to their guests needs, steering you to great local restaurants.

The inn was quite comfortable. It was a short walk to a lake and the bay shore and a 15 minute drive to Greenport.

In 2005 and 2006 and hope and plan to again in 2007

    from

Christmas 2004 our daughter presented us with a gift to Arbor View B &B. We went May 2005. Pleasant drive from Nassau county, not to long to get there, all is well. Well, all got better! What a beautiful, immaculate house it is. The best of all is to have met Vida and Wilfred. We had a delicious banquet style breakfast. The physical need of nourishment, by candlelight was outstanding, but the conversation, the joy and laughter we shared with them nourished our heart and soul. We came home gave our daughter and family a big hug and thanks. Told them it was the best gift to have received and how thankful we were. Christmas 2005 we were surprised again with the same. WOW!!! We had hoped to go during the summer, unfortunately Joe was set back with health issues and it wasn't until October that we were able to get there. We arrived to a big hug and welcome by Wilfred. We missed Vida who was away taking care of her father at the time. We hope he is doing well. Wilfred is a wonderful person to have a conversation with. No matter what the topic; health, the woes of the world, anything at all. He is very knowledgeable on many subjects, a great listener and conversation flows easily. We missed Vida and hope to see both Vida and Wilfred next time. Carmen And Joe

    MAGNIFICENT

are just a few of the adjectives to describe our experience at the Arbor View House Bed & Breakfast; from the hospitality, ambience, and food to the cleanliness.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. On a rating scale from 1-5, we give a rating of 10!!!!

P.S. Make sure you ask your host and hostess to point you in the right direction to take in the magnificent sunset. It was as breath taking as our experince with Wifred and Veda (owners).

    Relax at the Arbor House

    from

We visited the Arbor House July 28th-30th. and had a wonderful time. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Wilfred and Veda, and they put us right in a "relaxation mode". They served wonderful iced tea and tidbits. In the morning the conversation and the delicious food made for a wonderful start to the day. Both Veda and Wilfred are very knowledgable about the area, and directed us to the best sites, and places to eat. We totally enjoyed our experience, and will be visiting them again.

The breakfasts and the conversations were superb.

We have just returned from a three day weekend at the Arbor View House Bed & Breakfast Spa. The Room we stayed in the Zinfandel Room is well laid out with a four-poster bed that reminds me one my grandmother had with a ladder to get up to it. We had some many bouquets of flowers all over even in the bathroom. My wife and I travel all over the country and we try to stay at B&Bs whenever we can and find one, this is one of the nicest and cleanest ones we have stayed in. It has all of the amenities of a four star hotel, plush robes and slippers and even an flat screen LCD TV with a DVD player.
