Kept travelling East. First head south and back over the border to USA on the [97/20]. Kept following the [97/20] until they separated at Okanogan. ... than getting all packed and ready for the next morning where I flew to San Francisco.Michael was just about to go when I woke up so I got him on Facebook and bid him farewell before getting showered and heading to breakfast.In my usual casual way I got ready although this was a time to rush and when I eventually got the train and arrived at the airport I had 35 minutes before my flight left which turned out was too late to get on even for a domestic flight ...
... out a repertoire of well used one liners that amuse most of the vacationing American crowd. We find the spiel a bit hackneyed, but have lots of fun watching our fellow passengers.
Back in port we reckon the only option for dinner has to be clam chowder. It's goooooood. Right. We're now fortified to climb Seatt Hill's best slopes back to the hotel. "At least we can see the Space Needle from our room" - well, sort ...
So, here I am. Back in Seattle, my birthplace and altogether one of my favourite cities.
Upon entering the city, I was greeted by something that all Seattleites are quite familiar with, good ol' Seattle traffic. I'd forgotten how horrible it is to drive here, particularly in the rain. The weather has cleared up nicely now though. There's nothing but sunshine and the Puget Sound (and a couple of clouds, ...
... br> Long, fun day of laughter with fellow passengers, whizzed through many towns and maybe 7 ferry crossings. I had no idea there was so much water to cross. Amazing, the cost for our probably 6 hour bus was $3. It seemed like there were bridges under construction down here, they told us that Kuakata was lovely and targeted for development in the future.
There was music on our bus, in each town some people got on and some off. Often, little kids selling food would come through ...
