    ... not get working key cards, the wifi didn't work, the room smelled terribly of smoke, and at one point, 2 of the employees came barging into our room (apparently they forgot that they gave us that room). Once we got settled though, everything was better. We ordered pizza, watched TV, and were able to really relax and just lay around all night - which we desperately needed after traipsing around Chicago for 3 ...

    We started our day enjoying the free wifi with the kids in our Baraboo hotel while Mom & Dad got ready. The kids are really loving the free wifi on this trip!

    As we left, we put the Wisconsin state sticker on the van since we will be leaving Wisconsin and heading West. Not sure if we'll make it as far as South Dakota tonight but that is our goal.

    My new buddy and I wanted to drive but Mom wouldn't let us.

    ... back to the hotel around 4pm to change and head out for dinner. We went back to Wisconsin Dells and had dinner at Buffalo Phil's. It was a big place very near to Great Wolf Lodge and as you walked in it looked like a huge lodge. Our drinks were brought to us by a large electric train. Those servers must love their job!
