          ... We too can't take the winters. We headed down the road toward our next destination, Niagara Falls via Palmyra, NY. We got as far as South Bend, IN., home of Notre Dame University.           ... and turning on the air conditioner, the smell did not go away. After stopping at a rest stop, we noticed a drip under the car so we had to go to a Subaru dealer. They determined it was a minor issue, so back on the road following a small tweak. We have been abusing the car for some time now and feel kind of bad for blaming cities like Gary.
