... br> The 3 hours of kayaking was incredible. It was amazing to be able to walk along the cliff tops of the peninsula. But to be able to see them from a holistic point of view and to be able to kayak through the caves and see so many colours and natural rock formations was just incredible. Dina ave up the kayaking after a while as we had lost our coordination in our double kayak. So she sat in the front and took photos while I paddled, which I found easier as well.

What a stunning day in the south of Portugal. As I mentioned in the last blog the day started off pretty slow having arrived at 5:30am or so bus arrival that was followed by sitting in the reception of our hostel for a long time.

Well we ended up sitting there until around 10:30am once we both mustered up the strength to get up and get going. I even during that time managed to find myself with my face against the wall sleeping.

... no signs to advise which way you go, just a barrier across the road, and a policeman waving at you to turn off the road. Eventually, one "helpful" policeman gives us directions, but after half an hour of negotiating tiny roads, we end up, back at the first road block!
