... the main area, the disappointment continued. Rooms are old and small. Bathroom is particularly disappointing. The room safe is small and the lock physically comes out in order to open it. Everything is key opened and there's a steep charge if you lose the key(s.) paint is coming off the walls in the bathroom. For $6000+ per week, my optimism is fading fast. Let's hope the week dramatically ...

... wares so obviously this beach is controlled by either cops or tourist bureau. No beggers!!

Had a couple of fruity beverages and then Red Stripe. Also grabbed lunch at the restaurant on the beach. Each order something different and share - get lots of flavour - taking advantage of jerk meals. We are both figuring Jerk = Salt - holy salty foods.

Had an excellent beach day and did pretty much the same thing the following day. I stayed in the shade a bit ...

... families. Gonna keep it simple and just stick to family this time around. Found a local convenience store en-route to/from our hotel to the main road and utilize that a lot. Red Stripe is pretty cheap and nummy! Good beer and she'll be chilling in our fridge.

My goodness it's obvious we've traveled before - had all of our supplies and gifts all within two hours of arriving! Good to go and ready for the night to unfold (and what a night!!).

... was just bored by the rudimentary nature of the lesson! I have never seen a kid faster on Maze, and I kept challenging him to harder and harder Mazes....but he was impatient and wanted me to play what he called the "Snake Game". I told him there was no 'Snake Game' thinking he meant something like Snakes and Ladders.

... synergy of his having released his album and played his concerts just before we left and the not so coincidental circumstance of his lyrics and music playing directly to our sensibilities, have made Noel's music, both with Oasis and solo, the perfect soundtrack to our trip. We know it sounds unlikely, but it seriously would not have been as good without him.
