Its a 3 hour bus ride back to Arequipa on the way we stop at a viewpoint which us the highest point of our trek 4800m (15360ft) its absolutely freezing so its quickly out of the bus,few snaps and straight back in. They say our last stop is to look at some llamas! ... and brought cuy with her. When we got to the hotel, Gaby shared it with us. (Apparently refusing cuy is one of the rudest things you can do in Peru, so we had no choice but to try it.) It wasn’t that bad, and tasted like greasy chicken. I struggled with the skin though, which still had little bits of fur on it.

... everything is done manually. We get to a dirt road which is the entry in one of the Inca sites – Ollantaytambo. I was so disappointed on arrival as we go through the entry gate, my battery on my camera goes...........argghhh. A few nice people on the trip actually offered to take photos for me and they will download in the next day or so, I could not believe my luck, as this was the start of seeing the showcase of the Inca’s.
