... down, industrial - too bad after the pretty countryside we've passed through.
It was 11 am and we crossed without difficulty so after getting some more gas we continued down 401. The landscape felt alien - tons of windmills along the Erie shore and three lanes of highway but scarcely any traffic. Obviously a make work project!
We ate lunch at one of the new service centres - an A & W no less - and kept on plugging. Took 401 as an alternative to 403. I ...
Off to Lithuania...
... for 2 days, and then Tallinn, Estonia. From Tallinn, we will take a bus to the Russian federation, where we will join a tour for 15 days that takes us through St. Petersburg, Novgorod and Moscow, then into Ukraine and finally to Budapest. We will spend a few extra days after the tour on our own, soaking up the thermal spa waters there before traveling down the Danube for a very quick stopover in Bratislava, and then 2 nights in Vienna.

Relaxing day
... ook niet mee, want het miezerde. Vervolgens kwamen we uit bij de universiteit. Een schitterend gebouw. En toen keken we op ons horloge. Het museum zat er toch niet in vandaag, het was eigenlijk wel tijd om wat verlaat te lunchen en dan de trein terug te pakken, aangezien de mannen naar het vrijgezellenfeest van Wouter moesten.
Via Queens Park, met ontelbare eekhoorns, liepen we weer terug richting station en op zoek ...

... transferred and the bus left. We had to stop at the border, get all our stuff and go through the border control. They were really nice, and I asked the guy for a stamp. He had to rummage around for it and actually change the date, they don’t do stamps anymore it seems. He stamped my passport and now I only have 5 empty pages which I’m hoping I can get filled before it expires in 5 years time. We got back on the bus and ...
