We were full, we were high on sugar, we pushed our bikes up the hill and praised the beauty of the landscape because there was no way it could continue in this way; vertical, rocky, boulder strewn, covered in tree roots, with huge gashes filled with soft sand. After half an hour our confidence waned. After an hour it was replaced by frequent expletives. So many of you have said that you enjoy traveling with us, so today, sit back and enjoy the view!! Our itinerary showed us leaving Yellowstone and driving toward Glacier National Park, about a 6.5 hour trip. Little did we know that the day would have a lot of twists and turns, both literally and figuratively.

We left Fishing Bridge about 9:00 and retraced part of our tour drive of yesterday and enjoyed the views all over again. ...

... it'll be a nice reunion. Seeing her without snow will be a first. We'll meet our friends from Spokane Valley and give them the tour. We'll hang out over dinner after that. The ride into Montana through Sandpoint, Idaho and along the Cabinets to Libby is as beautiful as any of the last 16,000 miles. Montana is an incredible place - a postcard shot around every corner. We would inevitably be asked, " what was your favorite place? " Montana is hard to beat.
