Just before leaving Mechanicville we got an email from Lock One Marina that they had still not received our filters.... at least we now knew we would be at our anchorage at a good hour! Getting out of the parking lot was a bit of a challenge as at least one car apparently got stuck in the muddy conditions and blocked many of us in. An hour later we escaped the field and made our way towards West Springfield and its supercharger as well as our hotel.
Of course, the fireworks were a nice distraction!
