... In addition to the knick knack shops, there are several wine tasting shops offering a chance to learn about local wines. (Yes, we bought a few bottles and are wondering how we are going to fit them into the already stuffed car.) Almost all of the restaurants offer German fare. The place we had dinner even had an accordion player. This month on the weekends they are celebrating Oktoberfest and every lodging accommodation is full.

Today was a great start to a driving day, with a good quick start and an Elk viewing within 10 miles of the campground. We found two female Elk grazing in a field and what looked like a coyote hunting them, though it was on the opposite side of the river it did find two others that were out of our view and appeared to have chased them away. Not much further down the road ...

So happy I got to stay with my Kumu Momi..... We talked until the wee hours and just hung out. I got to meet Cooper.... We took him for rides and got the tour of Levenworth. Especially loved Icicle Canyon and getting to eat at sleeping Lady....
Momi and I went to see Cowboys and Aliens - Very strange but fun .
Best time with Sissy Cooper and Momi watching ...
