    Up early and with all limbs still attached (meaning my dreams about the Somalian pirate from Tom Hanks' 'Captain Phillips' movie attacking me were unjustified), we packed double quick, got the car and with as much speed at the poor mini engine could muster, ventured out of Marseilles.     ... We enjoyed a glass of rosť and conversed in French and English with Airelle and Etienne and Etienne's mother, a lovely and super-spry lady of 92 who had just arrived to visit from Belgium.     ... We also found our way to the Pont d'Avignon in the late afternoon. Amazing how a well timed ice cream cone will keep the kids going!
