    • Day 9:
    • The day of the actual wedding ceremony arrives. Almost an anti-climax after all the pre-wedding partying! Light rain is falling, not good for outdoors ,hope it clears for afternoon.
    • Festivities at the Castle not due until 2 pm so we decide to visit our other Castle («hateau de Chateauneuf) which is only 100 mtrs from our B&B.
    • Displays much as in all the other Castles cum ...

    It's time to make my way from Nice back up towards Paris and stop number one is Avignon. Avignon is a little town in France and is built with a fortress wall all the way around the town. I stayed at the POP hostel which hands down has the best hostel bed in Europe. Unfortunately I do not have a picture but hopefully my description will do it ...

    ... dinner where one of Geraldine's friends had prepared a special meal of mussels. Daniel is a former restaurant critic who now cooks for these special nights making the mussels in a special cooking wok/massive pan that is about the size of a kiddie pool.
