        ... to the village. We strolled the route from our gite (rental) through town, past the church, bakeries, small shops and the mayor's office and a small open air market where we bought some fresh goat cheese. The walk took an hour.

        ... was a travel day, it also became a laundry day. It took a couple of hours to get caught up but we succeeded. Next it was off to Avignon supermarket for groceries for the week. We returned about 5:00 and settled in for the night. We lit a fire in the fireplace as the temperature in the old stone cottage was a bit cool. The fire, some jazz and some Côte de Rhine wine made for a lovely evening.

        ... hours in Arles (Van Gogh central, though the only thing we did concerning Vincent was walk down a street with his name).         ... to hit the rooftop pool...gorgeous pool and what a view!!! Spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing poolside...ahhhhhh! Went to dinner at rooftop restaurant in our hotel and had great view of Monte Carlo at night.
