... Eight days of not worrying about our packs, of sailing and exploring and no big pressures to drink too excessively. We stopped at a quiet shoreline, with crystal clear aqua blue water for our first swim. Little sprats darted beneath us. The water was gorgeous, very clear and clean. Sailing out we could see the sun lowering onto the water and feeling very peaceful when a gorgeous pod of dolphin swum out beside us. We anchored in Hvar: the place where superstars and ...

With the more smelly backpackers (we are probably a 6-7 on the B.O. scale, so not at the extreme… yet), most likely saving their Kuna for alcohol, DJ parties on the beach and pizza (rather than sun-beds) it provided us with a nice little break from the crowds. It was such a cool experience being above the city with the bell tower in the background whilst lounging around in a jacuzzi. Our catamaran across ...

... the sea-sick tablets he'd taken! I went up on the top deck with some of the girls, Eilleen, Melissa and Courtney, where we watched some of the beautiful coastline go past us from the front of the boat. After getting splashed a bit from the waves, we moved around to the back of the boat and sat at a table there. A bunch more people started joining us at the table and we had a chat and started to get to know each other. A few drinking games were even started, including the ...

The sun is blazing over the rugged mountains on the Croatian coast as we embark on our tenth coach journey from Split to Dubrovnik. We've just driven through winding roads built into the cliff face with the turquoise sea beneath us and the shimmering reflection of the sun makes me realise how beautiful Croatia is... The last week has been an interesting adventure mainly because of the varied people we've met along the way. When we decided to go to Pag island and ...
