    ... problem. My man can do everything! For dinner, we both ate black risotto- the locals call it a "fantasy dish". It's made with cuttlefish, which is similar to squid in that it shoots ink as a defense. They then use the ink as the sauce to turn the risotto (rice, really) black, and subsequently our teeth and lips too- really attractive. It was our favorite dish so far this trip!     ... s old defensive walls. Apparently only 2nd in length to Great Wall of China. Ston also has interesting salt works with its large areas of land where sea water is dried to make salt.

    A 2hr drive followed and as we pulled up to the next port, in the distance we saw that the ferry had left only minutes before.

    ... as we do they towed us back to the boat hire lol as this was not our fault they gave us more than half our money back which was really good of them.

    ... and in the warmest water we have had on the trip. We had a picnic lunch and walked the east end of the island, bypassing the nudist beach. We ended at the Dead Sea, an inland pool fed by the sea through underwater conduits and the Benedictine monastery, under renovation. We stopped for a drink at the local cafe before catching the ferry back to the city. Betsy and I walked around for a little souvenir shopping before cleaning up and having our final happy hour on the terrace. ...

    ... to the waterfront to make sure we saw it in full sunlight. Thankfully this is what happened as we enjoyed a drink and an amazing pizza wrap strolling around. With it getting closer to 1pm we strolled back to our hostel and packed our near empty bags as we had washed basically all of our gear as it was well overdue.
