... the tree-covered island. Following paths and odd shaped/coloured signs through the forrests you definitely feel like you are on a slightly Alice-esk adventure.. Up, back and cross-cutting I finally found the group, correction, half the group, lying on a man assisted rock wall/beach by the water.

All we wanted was a pizza aboard the boat whilst we prepped, pampered and pre-drank - too much to ask but did score ourselves some fine food with a ...

We arrived in Split and headed off for the ruins of Diocletian's Palace. It's rectangular, about 160 x 190 metres, and has four central gates on each side - the golden, silver, brass and iron gates. We walked in through the brass gate and descended into ...

... was a great idea. And it really was. As we got down to the harbour the sun was breaking through, and by the time we had gone to get some hangover food (spinach and feta filo wrap thing that is to die for) and drinks for our expedition the clouds had gone. We slowly made out way over to one of the islands just off Hvar (we went for the cheapest little dingy that only had 5hp...) We found a little bay with a small beach on it and set up camp. It was glorious. Sunbathing and ...
