... us headed up the hill behind Hvar Town to the fort built in the 15th-16th centuries. There were stairs and switchback roads, but the view was well worth it. Our intention was to watch the sunset, but unfortunately there was a distant hill blocking that view. We were glad we waited til the evening to climb up there as we would have been miserable during the day.
I have to admit, I enjoyed this bit of the trip and am really glad I extended for the additional week.
Another early start and full on day ahead, but making the most of my time here in Croatia. Today I had a day tour of the islands with the highlight being a boat trip into the famous blue caves, the part I was most excited about!
