    ... area not where everyone else was, they looked harmless so I asked if I could put my bag in their bag (I'm extra cautious after being robbed) and swam with them. Lovely people, live permanently in Zagreb, however holiday house in Hvar..I'd say equivalent is living in Melbourne, but holidaying in Portsea for them...except we were in Croatia !!!

    ... One managed to scramble up and dive out into the water to weather the waves away from the rocks. But the other had been deposited stomach first on a rock outcrop and could only hold on as the rest of the waves scraped him against the rocks.     Today, we rented a boat. Yesterday, me and Johan walked around for like 2 hours and talked to a bunch of different companies you could rent from. We ended up getting a 150 hp 6,2 metres riblike boat. We also got a skipper. We all know how to drive a boat, but apparently you need an international skippers license to drive a boat like that in Croatia, or you might get fined.     One side originally went into the ocean for the emporer to have a private entrance.
    It is a very clean and white city with very smooth slabs of concrete as its roads. Lots of roman influence in the architecture. Small lane ways with flower pots hanging from the walls.
