... a big boats wake and I got absolutely drenched on one side. LUCKILY for him the camera had been down at this time or there would have been hell to pay.

Hvar is pretty built up compared the other towns, but is still a really pretty, old, old town and also has a large fortress castle which sits at the top of the hill. We took a walk along the waterfront all the way around to the Hula Hula Bar, which is on the the next bay from the town so it ...

We all battled the internet in the apartment. So slow and disjointed that it would have been quicker to send letters by carrier pigeons, or have a brief message written on stone tablets and for the tablets to be sent via slave’s rather than sent via email.

Ok, so we’ll divulge a little into some of the conversations we had with Kruno and his dad (and believe me this is tame!) So as we were checking out, Kruno’s dad came along and in Croatian whilst holding our hands told us we were good people….arh that’s sweet, he then boasted about how they ‘breed’ in his family….right….ok…. he then proceeded to tell us that ...

It's a beautiful Mediterranean day, blue skies and warm temperatures. As we ferry along the coastline towards Hvar, the rocky mountains loom over us. The towns in Croatia have a bountiful supply of limestone, marble and granite which is right on their doorstep. Every house is made from stone blocks, all the steps, cobblestones, and some of the older homes have slate roofs. On our last night in Korcula, our travel gurus, Tara ...
