Fantastic room, great staff. would get 5* but we had to pay 150B for breakfast which I think was steep AND it's up the hill from the 'town'

Rest and relaxation

Left Phang Nga early, caught a bus to Krabi which cost 75 baht each. When we got there we caught a taxi to Aonang beach and found our awesome accomodation! Aonang Goodwill was so pretty and clean inside. Our towels were folded into the shape of elephants on our massive king size bed. All tiled and cool. It was a 10 minute walk down to the beach …

Railay beach which promised to have some caves. One caves is meant to have a shrine that has many wooden carved penises.(an offering to the goddess by local fisherman) We …

I woke up a little tired and groggy this morning - so what could be a good cure for this?? Why, climbing a mountain of course! I had signed up for a Jungle Tour today and our group started the day at the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua) which is north of Krabi Town. It is an interesting complex - a monastery, a series of caves and the piece de …

We've Arrived In Paradise!

This morning was an early start as we said bye to Bangkok for one last time. As usual, the airport was easy to get through and the flight was on time. As we landed at Krabi the pilot said it was 28 degrees outside, a little cooler than what we have been living with since we left home but as we walked from the plane, the heat was perfect. My …
