      ... candles lit. I have explored Manhattan and travelled over to Boston. I have had a flight cancelled and rebooked. I have experienced most kinds of weather - from spring (not far off summer) temperatures to cold snowy mornings.       So this wasn't a short entry. But as some of you will know better than others (or does everyone knows, but are sometimes too polite to tell me?) my version of "short" when I am talking is very different to other people's definitions.
