... sunset. Nola and I climbed up a little trail from the RV park to a small hill to get a better view. They had some statues by the trail that made the little hike interesting.

Laundry done and RV clean, we are looking forward to going to Red Rock Amphitheater tomorrow.

The ride to Denver was short so we added in a side trip to Breckenridge for lunch. The ride to Breckenridge required that we traverse another sweet pass. ... in. Thank goodness Gary was driving as I would have just stopped and cried. Anyway we made it and we are not far from the town centre so we have had another big walk tonight. Again Gary had another spend in the Overland shop. A nice heavy duty jacket. Tomorrow it is on to Kearney and Gary's work will begin. ... the Rocky Mt National Park going up and over the continental divide to Estes Park. Unfortunately the park service had just closed the road that morning due to snow and ice. They would only let us go as far as Milner's Pass. I decided we would at least go that far and then turn around and backtrack. When we got back to Grand Lake, we worked our way to Golden via Winter Park and I70. Six hours and 220 miles later, we were in Golden. We saw antelope, elk and beautiful scenery ...
