Through Wind and Rain for Frites
... the 366 steps up the 290-foot bell tower in the Markt square. The staircase was winding, narrow and packed with tourists trying to make their way both up and down (in a confined space that often barely allowed for one person). ... frustrating day. Though we never go to McDonald's or Burger King at home, the Quick's greasy burger and a fountain drinks (with ice!) were a welcome relief.
