... I had to rent clubs and buy balls but had a great time. I lost all my balls but one after the first 8 holes so I had to play really well with my last ball. I managed to finish the last 10 holes without losing it! Also saw two bald eagles on the 5th hole, right up close!

... ume um uns herum, doch jetzt stehen wir mitten in einem Wald aus Süßahornbäumen. Die Bäume sind hier bis zu 350 Jahre alt und machen 80% des gesamten Waldes aus. Ich finde es beeindruckend, wie sehr sich die Vegetation hier ändert.

Später verlassen wir für eine Weile den Cabot Trail, um die Alternate Scenic Route zu nehmen. Diese führt uns wieder an die Küste heran und gibt den Blick auf wilde Klippen frei. Das Wetter ist auf der Ostseite der Insel viel ...
