        The trip across Idaho was uneventful, but a few miles after we crossed into Utah, the winds picked up and got heavier as we drove to Brigham City. Once we got on I-15, we were driving straight into 20 plus mph winds with 30-40 gusts. The winds are suppose to clam down tonight, but climb back up tomorrow so we will hunker down here for a couple of nights.

        ... so we were glad that she suggested it.

        We got back to the campground around 3:15, rode bikes for a while, and are ready for happy hour and grilling out.

        We are on our way to Park City, Utah tomorrow. (Anne, thanks for the suggestion. It looks awesome.) Then, back to Salt Lake City by Saturday to explore the city and meet our kids at the airport.

        ... We drove by miles and miles of irrigated ranches for grazing and crops - grains, oats and hay. We also saw miles of desolate scrubland driving through Idaho. Snake River is a great source of water as it flows from Wyoming to Idaho Falls. We finally felt like we were coming into civilization when we entered Idaho Falls. It's a historical city with a Vietnam Memorial and even a Walmart. After this city we passed through lava rock fields ...
