Once we arrive in Kilimanjaro, we still have a 1 hour drive to our hotel in Arusha, Tanzania. Luckily we have the 24th reserved as a "rest" day, before heading out for our 2 week safari. Although "rest" is a relative term, as we're actually taking a trip out to Moshi to view Mount Kilimanjaro.

... in a FAA control tower. We're such rookies, we were staring out the window and playing with our gadgets for 2 hours before we realized that no planes were moving around outside.

2:30pm:
Planes are moving again. The taxiway logjam has cleared up.
Our Airbus 330 has arrived and scheduled to leave on time at 3:25pm.
