    ... Ok, I saw more NO police on one block than I saw in the rest of trip combined. It looked like someone fleeing and the place was surrounded.     ... the HOV there was no drama, and I was out of Atlanta in 45 minutes. Key West is about 1500 km south of Atlanta so the original plan was to do it in 2 days, however leaving a little early allowed me to put in about 330 kms and reduce my daily mileage requirements. Tomorrow I will put in a full day and try to get south of Tampa, leaving an easy day for arrival into Key West on Saturday.

    ... to stay up for about 5 hours, and then slept for about 5. Landed in San Fran at 10:30 AM local time. Getting through customs with Global Entry is THE BEST. Took less than 2 minutes. The biggest hassle was the fact that I changed airlines from United to US Air, so had to get my luggage and lug it upstairs in another terminal to check it in at the US Air counter.
