... called Mitchell, which was the "Home of the Corn Palace"! Yes, indeed, there it was… a palace made of corn, plus lots of corn related tourist shops. I could have bought some figurines of Native Americans with skirts made of corn cobs, but managed to resist. I also resisted the Santa Xmas tree decoration where Santa was made from an ear of corn.
