We had learned yesterday that it was possible to buy a metro pass for $11 each which covered public transit (that is the term Canadians use instead of 'transport' for their public transport system) around the city regardless of whether you take a street car, subway or bus. Our walk took us through an obviously ex seedy area that has now become trendy with lots of Antique stores and quirky little restaurants...
