    ... only been eating pasta. Well, in Toronto, from out of nowhere I got confidence to 'cook', I made ciabatta with onion, mushroom, tomato, bacon and garlic cheese, with a salad. It actually tasted so good and I wasn't sick afterwards - result!!!     Other places we visited were the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Bata Shoe Museum (which Kate thought I might enjoy because I have lots of feet), the CN Tower and Toronto Islands.     ... To start with, it had a lift. You don't appreciate the difference a lift makes in your life until you've a suitcase to lug across Canada. It also had a restaurant. Not a really fancy one but one that served good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's called The Cavern and if I'd remembered to take a photograph you would see why (it's in the basement if that helps). I had nice roommates and an en suite bathroom.
