A brief stop on the way home

Up early for a Traditional Holiday Express Breakfast. To the airport and a seven hour flight to Toronto. Hanging out in the airport. They have terrific, and free, iPads and charging stations in the waiting lounges. Ready to head home.

... to change mine back to where it was. So, walking in the airport, we were pretty sad that we would need to spend the next 9 hour flight about 13 rows apart sitting with strangers (especially because we were going to share one iPad to watch the shows and movies we had downloaded!) we asked at the check-in counter at the airport if they could change us, but they said the airplane was probably full and that we would need to check at the gate. Once at the gate, we asked again and ...

... to see any of this going on, but by this point we were frantically searchingly for the harbour to take us back to the mainland!)

To conclude our weekend we went to visit Toronto's underground city, which we had only learnt about a couple of days before. It was the most bizarre place we had so far visited in the city. It consisted of 27km of deserted, zombie apocalypse- type corridors, with closed shops and eateries down each side. Popping by the next day did ...
