    Today was a great day and a foody day. We heading south to Medford, OR and got a tour of the Hearing Dog School. They were great...yhey use only rescue dogs from the pound and train them as hearing dogs for deaf/hard-of-hearing people. Good Sam (national RV Group) is their biggest sponsor.

    ... We met up with Butch and Connie here and renewed or friendship and laughs. Played some shuffle board in the Elks and Sequence in the HB. Got the dreaded call from Marianne that Don had passed away yesterday, Sept 30. He leaves a big whole in this world. I'm so so sad. Writing this in Ashland where are staying two nights at the Holiday RV park. Nice park with shade trees and grass. The town is so charming. ...

    ... drive right around the rim of the crater and view the lake as you go. Just amazing what Mother Nature can do when she blows her top, sort of speak. On our way down from the crater we stopped at a lovely water fall, Vidae Falls. Not as spectacular as the lake but nice anyway. As we got further south we could feel the weather get hotter.
