Both the cruises meant that we left 'the Beach' later than usual (25JUN14).

The major highlights for our time included ........

A surprise visit by Sam on Mother's Day ....... he came as the Pizza delivery man.

Meeting the new owners of B401 above us ......... Nancy and Rob Pierson,

and

saying goodbye to Emilee and Jon Reynolds as they have sold their unit and are making Delware their home base from now on.

Woke to the sound of music from the noisy girls next door, at least it wasn't rap, maybe they had been there for the Miley Cyrus concert. The bill was under our door, quite a shock it came to over $230 - taxes & $25 for the car park, all that & no breakfast included either! ... of the zoo was the giraffe display. Humans take a winding path up to the enclosure and the giraffes are at eye level. We bought sweet potatoes to feed them and we actually had their black tongues linking our hands for more…what a treat! I bought Zander a stuffed giraffe that is bigger than he is. ... poodle with a jacket and booties to protect him from the sun and hot sidewalk, a wild rabbit in the grass, posts with many signs directing us to various restaurants, a fence made of driftwood, a metal gate with a pelican, and a mailbox with a fish as decoration.

The courtyard was busy well into the evening - people in the pool, people grilling their dinners, kids chasing lizards and just playing.
