      Sad to leave New York. Feeling very comfortable in this vibrant town. Everyone is cool, friendly, caring and helpful. We have had a blast. Took a transfer out west to Newark in New Jersey to pick up a car - far enough from the New York traffic!.       I had planned to cross at St Stephen so I could pass by the chocolate factory, but the road actually goes directly to the new crossing and I did not realize I had to take the exit.

      Highway 9 was open and clear. The view of the wild blueberry fields in the fall is quite beautiful as all the plants turn bright red.

      I drove almost 1,000 Km's today and when I stopped, the ground kept moving.
