... and modern technology for what may be the last time in a while. Now the mercury started to show some more reasonable figures (during the day at least). As I pulled into the Odessa Guest House they thought I was mad when I asked to use their BBQ. Apparently it's not the "done" thing in Winter, but this was the first time I'd seen 20 degrees in a week and I was keen to spend it outside. Cooked up a steak ...

... mooie en jonge tijger aan kwam gerend. Op de Jack Russel af. Een slachting volgde niet. Het hondje was duidelijk de baas, en het tijgertje kwam bij het hek naar ons kijken. Ook hier weer een hek dat je normaal om een paar kippen spant, dus we konden zo dichtbij komen. We kunnen dus (en met trots!) zeggen dat we een 7 maanden oude tijger hebben geaaid! YES!

Een stukje verder was een erf met een groot huis in het midden, ook met een hek eromheen. ...

euro (jaja!) per uur. Verder zijn een docent van psychologie (‘oh, misschien
kan je wel colleges geven!’ ielp!), de directeur van een psychologisch centrum
verbonden aan de universiteit, en iemand die community service voor studenten
van de universiteit regelt hard op zoek naar iets voor mij om te doen. Erg
benieuwd wat daar uit gaat komen.
