... one of the closest towns to my parents’ house in Central New Jersey’s Little Florida of retirement villages, less than 30 miles away on a road that’s usually not too traffic-clogged. Ocean Grove is a seaside Victorian village in Monmouth County where we used to go sometimes when I was a kid because that’s where my father was taken on beach holidays when he was a kid.

Today rain and thunderstorms were forecast, so we thought we'd head for Macey's, to check out the " biggest Store in the world". It wasn't too far to walk - but enough. Macey's was yet another great Art Deco building. You must have guessed by now that I'm a great Art Deco fan, and have a great passion for buildings - and so has John.
