          ... the pace was really good. I like every place that we traveled to. Each was different. The architecture and art of Portugal and Spain are beautiful. Calatrava, Gehry and Gaudi!!! All different and fabulous. The food was too good! The Atlantic, Mediterranean and beautiful rivers - plazas, museums, route of Saint James - the history, people and cultures - made this trip an excellent one!           ... golf at Montauk which is at the tip of Long Island. It was a late finish - late enough for the deer to start wandering onto the course. Consumed some more lobster and a wonderful crab soup from a roadside stall. We are drinking mainly US wine but can buy good NZ Sav for the same price as at home.

          ... Laundromat, there was nothing to do but sit and wait... and wait... and wait... Don't you just love travelling and having to keep on top of dirty underwear!

          And then we had to wait for the dryer to dry our clothes... more waiting. Before long, we found other ways to entertain ourselves whilst waiting for our thongs ...

          ... surf boards from the village. And this beach has less people since its a bit far from the village. There are a number of hiking and biking trails in the area.
          I ride back with my ass killing me and my legs begging me to stop. But I make it back. I cycled over 20 miles and my energy levels are the same as my phone. I got a taxi back to the station. I paid 12 dollars on my way to the village and 10 dollars back to the station. Then I get onto the train and got back ...

          ... restaurant right on Navy Beach( it is a lake). And before bed, me and Stella had a mini spa session, doing our feet and putting on avocado masks. Liev's birthday is the 7th of September and yeah. We are having yet another bonfire on Saturday to celebrate his birthday and on Sunday we leave to go back to the City. I just put the girls to bed and I am so tired, but I do need my nightly walk on the beach so hopefully I finish work ...
