... compass heading to Oriental #1 for nearly four miles. Interestingly, we had a weird sort of sunset, visible over the surface fog. We would occasionally see lights from other vessels but they appeared and disappeared so quickly that no I.D. was possible. ... evergreens too to brighten it up even more. The cool thing about this hike was that we are right on the coast and starting to get into more southern tropical weather (although it doesn't feel like it right now) so we would walk between colorful leaves changing and evergreens and then into a tropical swamp filled with ferns and vines. Good morning and happy Sunday to you all.

Woke up to clear sky's no thunder clouds around today...yahoo! We are going to refuel and make our way to Wrightsville. beach NC it is in the county of New Hanover NC. They have a shuttle to the grocery store so I'll do that this morning time for more fresh veggies etc, the plan is to eat on the boat tonight.
