Today was mostly a travel day. We took the metro in Paris to the airport. Today, people were talking to us in French, so I did actually get a chance to practice a couple of my phrases ("Parlez-vous anglais?")! We had a strange lady bring her speaker and microphone on wheels and serenade us during the metro ride...that was a new experience. We arrived to Amsterdam late Sunday afternoon and began exploring. Our tour guide took us the ...

... Eventually, I made it back to the bike shop and reluctantly returned my DAMaa to the Greek man and told him I would come back for her next time I was there and he said I could reserve her if I gave him enough notice...haha! Yessss!!!

As I started making my way back to the Prinsengracht, I felt thirsty and saw an interesting place called De Carrousel that seemed to be beckoning me so I decided to stop in for a drink. I ordered a Duvel and a water, ...

For dinner we decided to try out the Hard Rock Cafe as neither of us have been to one before. That was a good experience, good music, fun atmosphere & the meals were massive! Only bummer was we both forgot to take any photo taking devices so no pics :( might have to walk past tomorrow to take ...
