... supposed to be in late. **** and what worries me is that there is no light in the cockpit. Another hour passes and the Captain announces three hydraulic systems failed and they are waiting for a technical crew. The delay is going to be at least another 1,5 hour. The red light district itself is split up into different types of hookers. There's an alley for big mammas, s & m, attractive women, older women etc etc. In one part of the district there is a kindergarten and the children who attend the school think that the women are selling their kisses. So very innocent.

... avenue of beautiful trees on both sides of the canal. Lots of bike riders along the tow path. We are on the Amsterdam/Rhine Canal. Soon to join the Rhine which will take us into Germany and Cologne.

There are only about 2 people under 60 on this cruise. 166 on board - a moving retirement village!!!

... who knew English so we could find out where to go. We then had to go through another security check. It was around 2:30 KL time that we boarded the KLM flight. They got us a light meal but Liam fell asleep before it came. All the lights went off so we all tried to sleep as best we could. Thank goodness I had a travel pillow, it really helped. ... were pulled up on stage and made to dance with the barely dressed lady performer or assist in one on one in their acts. It was hilarious to watch....thank God I wasn't pulled up though...LOL! After the show we all went for a walk through the red light district, which was a real eye opener. The amount of booths along the streets and was! We then headed back to the hostel at round 11ish.
