    I could live here... Wanaka seems to have it all.... Good Climate , Mountains , Lakes , Skiing, Cycling , outdoor Paradise in General... small City with Good Restaurants ... I could get on with more..... In Haast the only two place where you could get an Cafe where still closed at 8 AM, drove over the Haast Pass along Lake Wanaka & Lake Hawea to Wanaka....     ... was Punakaiki, where we had a walk around what has been labelled pancake rocks. Basically rocks along the coast line that look like they have a great amount of layers (stacked like pancakes). Some really great views here over looking the coastline and ocean and we also had a short walk down to the beach which was a lovely little cove. Our accommodation here was great, the group split into three lodges of 8 people, set back in the forest, just a few minutes from the coast. Ours ...

    ... so comfortable on the sofa that I accidentally drifted to sleep for about 4 hours before waking up with a very dry mouth. I dragged myself to CrossFit and today of all days I couldn't be bothered. But like every time I know the feeling of not wanting to go will soon be filled with satisfaction.
