Now that I have no where to be there is no reason to make 500 miles a day. We decided to pull off about half way to Iowa. Having driven in rain for an hour it looks like it is coming back. We have stayed in this park some 20 years ago, but it looks like there are many improvements. As we pull into our site it starts to rain. It is always fun setting up in the rain. As the day turns to night the rain gets heavy and I am thankful we ...

We didn't make a ton of progress on the map yesterday, but did a lot. I took the Mini in to get the oil changed and purchased some roof rack crossbars so we could go to REI and get a cargo box. A travel blog entry by drewscott on Jun 09, 2011

... no flights are moving right now at O'Hare. Luckily, the ticket agent was able to create a new itinerary that would still get me to DC in time for the orientation events happening tomorrow. My new itinerary, which I'm sure is subject to change, involves me catching a ~12:30 flight from Peoria to O'Hare (Originally scheduled to leave at 9:17) and then a 9:40pm flight from O'Hare to DC, arriving at 12:20am. This isn't the most ideal way to ...

... out my flip-flop

Stepped on a pop-top

Cut my heel had to cruise on back home

But there's booze in the blender

And soon it will render

That frozen concoction that helps me hang on

Wastin away again in margaritaville

Searching for my lost shaker of salt

Some people claim that there's a woman to blame

But I know it's my own damn fault

Yes and some people claim that there's a woman to blame

And I know it's my own damn ...
