but lots of wildlife and birds and a chance to have a campfire again.
During the night the NWS was sending alerts to my phone warning of flash flooding and the Illinois and Sangammon rivers over flowing. It was a violent storm and I will have to cross the Sangammon tomorrow morning and hope to camp near the Illinois River tomorrow.

... no flights are moving right now at O'Hare. Luckily, the ticket agent was able to create a new itinerary that would still get me to DC in time for the orientation events happening tomorrow. My new itinerary, which I'm sure is subject to change, involves me catching a ~12:30 flight from Peoria to O'Hare (Originally scheduled to leave at 9:17) and then a 9:40pm flight from O'Hare to DC, arriving at 12:20am. For my art exhibit cultural opportunity, I saw the exhibit at Lakeview Museum, called "Art of the Brick." I decided on this exhibit because the art pieces were made of LEGO bricks, which I had played with when I was little.
