In spite of its egalitarian principals, public transportation in Cuba is basic and poorly managed. Passengers sometimes have to wait very long periods for a bus to arrive. Morning queues are enormous, though everyone seems well behaved, if very frustrated. When a vehicle finally arrives it is extremely overloaded. Cienfuegos was a town worthy of a look and that is what we got as we stopped for a night en route back to Havana. We stopped too in Santa Clara, to visit to the Che Guevara museum. After a late start from Trinidad, we arrived in Cienfuegos with just enough time to wander around the grand central square, with it's impressively restored buildings.
