... a book and a half and spent the days resting. I think I might have to find a gym once I am 100% better as I eat too much bread, Quiche and pastries here with little to no exercise. ... a scarf to school, and when I am outside I am still cold.
The weekday consists of:
Wake up at 6, bus at 7:10, school starts at 8-9 (depending on the day). Lunch at 12-1, and finish school at 6pm. Except on Wednesday when we finish at 12. YAY!
There has been no snow yet :( but maybe in January :)

When we arrived in Saumur, on the bank of the Loire River we had planned to visit the Office de Tourism to find accomodation, and hopefuly something self-catering, but the office was closed. We later found out it was bank holiday. However, thay provide such good services that there was an interactive screen so we could look up some hotels. We walked a short distance, along a main street where most of the shops were open and market ...
... varieties on the tables: raspberry, strawberry, peach and quince, marmalade, rhubarb, yellow plum, pear, and green tomato and candied lemon (the label read "Please Love Me."), among others. I tried a dollop of Please Love Me, and it was't too bad. It was odd at first because all you could taste were tomatoes, but suddenly the lemon kicked in and it was quite nice.

... a party given by mutual friends. They hit it off and at some point decide to marry. They might get married in a church -- the religious setting makes for such nice photos -- but they must get married beforehand at City Hall by the mayor or the mayor's representative. Marriage is not recognized by the State if there is only a religious ceremony. Jean and Marie will have a big party afterward, maybe at a chateau, and it will go all night (though the newlyweds will slip away ...
