    ... We walked back down the tower spiral staircase amazing to think how they would have been built. On the metro home again and we did really well getting back. Just forgot the metro entrance on other side of road so started back the wrong way!! Took a couple of blocks to realize nothing looked familiar and had to turn round and retrace steps.     ... Catalan which is a mix of French and Spanish and even knowing a lot of Spanish was almost impossible to understand. In the end it was a relaxing couple of days but in the end we were happy to venture on to the south of France and to meet up with our friend Patricia. More on that to come hopefully sooner than later.

    PS- the internet connection in Florence is basically nonexistent so more pictures will come ...
