We spent the night near the DFW airport so we wouldn't have to drive this morning. Brent found a good deal on Priceline for Westin just North of the airport.

We ate breakfast at our lodge with a couple from Germany. We had salmon and egg croissants, apple strudel muffins, and caramelize fruit. Our host is an excellent cook. She packed the extra muffins for us to take on our hike.

Breakfast was a spread of melons with yogurt, chocolate chip and banana muffins, and spinach with feta cheese toast and eggs.
