... train was nearly an hour late, but that was fine because the railway station was a happening place and there was lots to keep us occupied. We had tea at the local refreshment centre - black tea, green tea and milk tea with a spicy snack.

The railway station is very colonial, and is still well maintained with outbuildings, offices, weighing stations, uniformed staff, timetables and rest rooms - even a second class Ladies' waiting room.
